Seeds embedded into thousands of
glowing transparent acrylic rods

Visitors interacting with the structure, looking and touching the rods

The whole interior space is made up of glowing rods.A hollow-cube like structure.
My Experience:  After about 45 minutes of queuing, I was finally able to progress through this pavilion.  I walked through this tiny entrance and I was overwhelmed, finding myself surrounded by thousands of seeds embedded into glowing acrylic rods which are actually the structure’s walls and ceiling.  The place was over crowded, everybody had to fight for a space to have their photo taken.  Having said that, because the plan was circular and only one way traffic was permitted, therefore getting around the space wasn't so hard.  The designer was very intelligent in their concept, particularly how they designed for the interaction between the space and the users.  The visitors were not only able to look at those acrylic rods but also feel them, making the experience more meaningful. The pavilion gave the visitors the knowledge and the chance to interact with nature, a very unique concept in last year's world expo.
